We've been hard at work this month because we know that April showers bring May flowers! And even though it's not quite May yet - we're seeing some early blooms.
Check out what we mean in this month's NLX friends and family update, coming to you from the 2022 Project Voice Conference in Chattanooga, TN.

Thoughts by Andrei
This past week, NLX attended the 2022 Project Voice Conference in Chattanooga, TN, where we met with partners (like our friends at AWS!), potential clients, and other vendors in the "Voice" space.
Yesterday, our CEO Andrei Papancea shared his candid thoughts on what's working for NLX and where he sees the future of chat, voice, and multimodal solutions headed.
His pivotal line, "I'm proud of my tech, and I'm sure you're proud of yours, but the customer doesn't care," caught the attention of many and sparked conversation in the room.
Andrei's 18-minute speech is worthy of your time - check it out!
Tiger Teams - Startups and businesses need to move quickly past unplanned situations in order to be able to continue to grow and thrive! In the latest edition of Thoughts by Andrei, he digs into Tiger Teams and the guidelines that NLX uses to make them effective.
NLX has an employee-first culture. We're of the opinion that if you take care of your employees, they will take care of your customers, which will, in turn, take care of your company.
Our employee-first ideology and practice stem from our CEO and are reinforced by an employee-led organization created to specifically foster and protect our culture.
And we don't mean this in a cheap lip-service way - we're walking the talk, and it shows. Over the past month, we've asked our team to tell us how they feel about the company on Glassdoor, and we're proud to share some initial results on what two-thirds of our company thinks!
See a preview of our growing Glassdoor results below or check out the page for yourself to go deeper on what our NLX-uals are saying.
WaPo: Amazon, Can We Have Our Name Back? At Project Voice, we heard from the Washington Post's Alexa Juliana Ard and the creator of "Alexa is a Human", Lauren Johnson, about the damage Amazon's branding of their virtual assistant is causing people -- and specifically children -- named Alexa. Though this article came out last year, the argument and information live on, making it this month's must-read.
We want ALL parents to know they're appreciated for all the hard work they do in raising the next generation. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you and Happy Mother's Day!
